A platform that will continue to be known as Facebook now will be changed to Meta. The company is thinking about the coming wave of computing: a virtual universe where people will gallivant freely as avatars, attending virtual work meetings, shopping in virtual stores, and hang-out at virtual get-togethers.

Zuckerberg states at Connect ( Company’s annual event)  focused on virtual reality– “ From now on, We are going to be the metaverse first, Not Facebook first”. As we all know Facebook is one of the most loved products in the world. But suddenly it doesn’t encircle all things that we do. Right now, Facebook is so tightly linked to a product that it cannot represent all things we are doing.

A leaked document has revealed, the ways Facebook ignored internal reports and warnings of the damage its social network created or aggravate across the world.

Mark Zuckerberg says he is expecting the metaverse to reach billions of people within the next decade. It will be a place for people to work, able to interact and create products. It will also help to create millions of jobs.

The disclosure comes during an experiential crisis for Facebook. It faces legislative and regulatory audits in many parts of the world including India. Mark Zuckerberg ignored warnings from its staff member about the risk of their design judgment and exposed sensitive communities all over the world to a cocktail of terrible content.

Mark Zuckerberg said-“In nowadays we are seen as a social media company but It is in our DNA to build technology to connect people”.

CEO Zuckerberg said:- Metaverse is a new way, the word “meta” is a Greek word that means beyond.

Mark Zuckerberg said the rebranding will help to pay attention and forget the past. The next generation of Internet services should be built with greater humility and acceptance. He realizes that in the last few years they and their company faces lots of problems in different ways.

“Don’t forget changing the name of wine didn’t mean, it will healthy for us. It will remain dangerous to us.”

A community that Zuckerberg launched during college day 17 years ago has become a chain of WhatsApp, Instagram and hardware businesses.

Facebook is not the only Silicon Valley company to rename itself, But google also changed its parent company to Alphabet in 2015 and Snapchat also changed to Snap Inc. in addition to rebranding itself.

Mark Zuckerberg said that he loves classics and “meta” is the result of that. For Zuckerberg “meta” means always more to build, and there is the next chapter for every story.
